Tofu with Mixed Vegetable Stir Fry

1 block of Tofu (bean curd)
2 medium sized carrots
5 or 6 beans
2 - 3 leaves of cabbage
1 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon garlic
half an onion sliced
2 tablespoons black bean soya sauce
salt to taste
1 large glass of water
1 teaspoon corn flour diluted to 1/2 glass of water


Cut up tofu into 1 x 1 inch squares, cut carrot into semi- circle shape, beans into french cut, cabbage into squares.Heat pan add garlic, ginger, onion, and fry till slightly brown, add tofu, carrot, cabbage, beans. Add the water, salt, black soya bean sauce and cover pan.When boiling add cornflour. after 3- 4 minutes switch off flame. serve hot with steamed white rice.

Cooking time: approx 12- 15 mins. (carrots can be half done)
