Tater Tot Cassarole

2 pounds ground beef or turkey or sausage or a mixture
2 diced onions
3 - 4 tbs diced garlic

1 LG can cream of mushroom or chicken soup, undiluted !
fresh sliced mushrooms, canned works too
1 bag shredded cheddar cheese
1 bag frozen tatertots

Mushrooms can be cooked with ground meat or just added to soup mixture.
Cook and drain ground beef and add it to soup in large bowl
stir well !
Transfer it to 9 x 13 pan.
Sprinkle all shredded cheese over the soup layer and add tatertots. Laying them out side by side.
Cover with foil !

Bake in preheated oven @ 350 for one hour.

Can be made ahead of time, just allow more baking time.

Another favorite in my house.
Serves at least 6 to 8 people or 4 teenagers !!
