Pasta Pizza Bake

(Prep Time: 30 minutes. Baking Time 20 minutes)

3 links Italian sausage
1 pound rotini pasta
1 Tablespoon olive oil
1 onion, diced
2 Tablespoons, flour
1 (14 ounce) can diced tomatoes
1 (8 ounce) can pizza sauce
1 (6 ounce) can evaporated milk
1 Tablespoon, dried oregano
¾ cup diced pepperoni
2 cups mozzarella cheese

1. Cook and brown sausage. Cut sausages into 1” slices and then cut each slice in half
2. Cook Pasta according to package directions
3. Heat olive oil in a medium sized saucepan. Add onions and sauté until tender. Remove from heat and stir in flour very well. Return to medium heat and add undrained tomatoes, pizza sauce, milk and oregano. Stir until thickened. Add cut up sausages and pepperoni.
4. Combine drained pasta and sauce. Place in a large casserole dish and sprinkle with cheese
5. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 or until hot.
This can be made ahead of time and refrigerated. Preheat the oven 50 minutes before you want to serve. Place the casserole, covered with foil in a 350 oven for 40 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 5 minutes or until hot.
Serves: 6-8
