Recipe Background

Thanks to Mindy K. for sharing this recipe for Glazed Salmon. I found this to be a really easy recipe to make. My kids especially liked it and my husband felt the glaze helped to tone done the heavy taste normally associated with salmon.

Glazed Salmon

Preparation Time: 5 minutes Baking Time 25 minutes

2 (6 oz.) salmon fillets

Spice Rub:
2 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons brown sugar
Pinch of cayenne pepper
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon freshly ground pepper

Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine all of the spice rub ingredients in a small bowl and set aside. Place salmon in a rimmed baking pan. Sprinkle a light layer of the spice rub mixture over the salmon and press it in with your fingers or the back of a spoon. Depending on the size of the salmon you may not need to use the entire spice rub. Bake for 20-25 minutes depending on the thickness of the salmon.
